WRAP UP: Disturbed & Sevendust at TD Garden 3/14/2025

Disturbed played to a packed TD Garden in celebration of their debut album "The Sickness" turning 25. There's so much nostalgia for me regarding that album. I remember getting their demo cassette and I was a fan of their sound from the start. They have been a solid band in the nu metal scene since that album came out. Even though I haven't kept up with their releases since the early years, every time I've seen them in concert they have always put on a great show.

Along for the ride were Canadian hard rockers Three Days Grace, who have also been around for roughly the same amount of time, however their lineup has revolved slightly, including the departure of their lead singer Adam Gontier. However, this was the first show where Adam was back as the lead singer swapping duties with Matt Walst who handled main vocal duties while Gontier was gone. They handled it gracefully, no surprise as their name applies! It was really great to see Gontier back behind the mic.

The metal veterans Sevendust from Atlanta, GA opened the night and may have been my favorite. Their careers started in 1994, but their debut album was released in 1997, and I was also a fan from the start. I only wish they had more time to play, unfortunately being the first band on gave them the littlest set but it packed a punch for the time they had to play.
