MONSTER JAM® RETURNS TO GILLETTE STADIUM ON THURSDAY, JULY 30
Media Preview Opportunities Include Track Construction, Interview Opps & Practice Session featuring New Truck Power Rush
WHAT: Experience Monster Jam® live and become a fan for life as it returns to Foxborough, roaring intoGillette Stadium for an evening packed with high-flying action and jaw-dropping stunts on July 30. This isn’t just any event - it’s As Big As It Gets™ where 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks stand on two wheels and fly through the air in competitions of speed and skill. Media will have the opportunity to get a preview of these trucks and the construction of the track in the days leading up to Monster Jam’s return to Gillette Stadium.
On Monday, July 27 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. witness the transformation of the Gillette Stadium track. Over nine million pounds of dirt (over 300 truckloads totaling 3,000 cubic yards) will become a Monster Jam track! A Monster Jam representative will be available for interviews to discuss the upcoming event and the behind-the-scenes process of building the track.
On Wednesday, July 29 from 10 a.m.-10:50 a.m., trucks and drivers will be available for interactive photo/b-roll opportunities for reporters and interviews. This includes – with advance coordination – climbing inside a truck and starting a truck, trying on a fire suit, track walks with a driver and tire changes.
Also, on Wednesday, July 29 from 12 p.m.- 12:30 p.m., Monster Jam drivers will fire up their engines at Gillette Stadium for an exclusive practice session. Media are invited to preview the action as Monster Jam trucks prepare for competition and get acclimated to the custom-built course. The session will also feature the first-ever U.S. competition appearance of Power Rush™, the record-setting new Monster Jam truck. Following the practice session, Monster Jam drivers and trucks will remain available on the track for additional media interviews and still photo opportunities until approximately 1 p.m.
